Our lab focuses in two areas: medicinal chemistry and material sciences.  We work on the design and synthesis of small molecules, peptides, and nanoparticles. We also do, in house or thru collaborations, cancer biology, microbiology, and computational chemistry to understand our data.

The projects of the lab are translational in nature with the final goal of developing therapies against diseases. However, our scientific curiosity pushes us to also do basic science to solve problems, answer question, explain unusual results, or just for fun.
